Currently I'm focused on preparing for a Hyrox competition, which combines running and 8 functional strength movements into one event. Training for this competition teaches me that we are capable of anything we set our minds to, as long as we are willing to put in the work.

On the positive side, participating in sports has empowered me to appreciate and respect my body's capabilities. Through training, I have witnessed my body's remarkable ability to adapt, be more flexible and grow stronger.

However, there have also been negative aspects to consider. At times, I have found myself overly critical of my body, comparing it to unrealistic standards set by the sport, industry or fellow athletes. Despite these challenges, I have learned to focus more on the holistic benefits of training, such as improving my health, strength, and mental well-being and less on the external appearance.

Make training a non-negotiable part of your routine by scheduling it like any other important commitments. Consistency is key, so focus on making regular exercise a sustainable part of your lifestyle.
