Georgia Hall x Röhnisch

Georgia turned pro in 2014 and quickly made a name for herself by winning the Ladies European Tour Order Of Merit in 2017 and 2018. At 22, she snagged her first Major, the British Open, making her the 4th player from her country to do so. Her achievements led to her being named the 2018 Sunday Times Young Sportswomen of the year and receiving an MBE from the Queen in 2019. She has since continued to excel, winning multiple LPGA/LET events and representing Europe in 3 Solheim Cups. Currently ranked 10th globally, she's off to a strong start in 2023, with 2 runner-up finishes and 2 top 10s, putting her at the top of the LPGA Tour Money & Points list.

What initially sparked your passion for golf, and how did you begin your journey as a professional golfer?

I started playing golf from the age of 7 with my Dad, and have never looked back. I always played other sports but I quickly turned my attention to golf when I started to get better and found it so rewarding seeing improvements year after year. I quickly established myself as a strong amateur player, and it then became my ambition to turn professional. I was lucky when I turned Pro I started to get some good results quickly, so I knew I could have a good career out here.

Which tours or events are you participating in this season, and what are your goals or aspirations for your performance on the tour?

I will be playing a full season on the LPGA Tour, and will hopefully make the Olympic team this summer in Paris. I don’t like to set myself too many goals, but I am working on a few areas in my game and hope to have a consistent year and hopefully win along the way.

As an ambassador for röhnisch, what do you hope to bring to the golfing community, and how do you envision your role in inspiring others to pursue their passion for golf?

Its an honor to be an ambassador for Rohnisch as I compete around the World. Not only is the clothing comfortable, but it looks good and I always get lovely comments from people about my outfits. Golf fashion has changed so much in recent years in a positive way. I think its all part of the process in making golf appeal to the younger generation which is something I am very passionate about.
